Autodesk One Team Conference 2008

Today I just come back from Autodesk One Team Conference 2008 in Las Vegas. This year is my second time to join OTC. Except the fresh food, cool networking reception, wonderful general session, excellent speaker... I learnt a lot of information from the geospatial industry breakouts and the civil sales camp. Although I do not have time to attend any mini-seminar of networking in this year. But I have opportunity to join the Geospatial meeting with different country partners, especially Autodesk Lisa Campbell and Mark Christian. I learnt a lot from them. I found most country also ask why Map 3D do not have terrain functionality and then end-user have confusion which software (Map 3d & Civil 3d) is their right solution.

Technically speaking, the upcoming AutoCAD Map 3D 2009 will be supported +25 of spatial proprientary file formats. This is the great news for every user in geospatial industry. It is needless to speak, FDO can be help to natively access different file format, provide seamless & powerful tools.
