The GIS Seminar has been finished in last week. This was a successful seminar that provided a lot of project reference. In total, over 150 attended the seminar. For this seminar we aim to present our Facility Management(FM) system by using FDO technology and One-step publishing to web. It seems that it had been acknowledged. Some audience asked us a sort of questions during the seminar.

AutoCAD Map 3D gives us one more option in the market for developing GIS system. In the common situation of HK, most of Company are using AutoCAD platform for long long time. So it provides a easy way for migrating their CAD system from CAD to GIS and make the technology more popular. In somehow we would concern that how to make it work together without conflict? FDO may help to solve this situation.

I was impressed that GIS system has been partly acquired of Government departments and private sector. As the network and hardware support, I believe that real-time Facility Management(FM) application will be applied very popular in coming future.
