AutoCAD Map 3D provides a tool called bulk copy which is used for creating/ updating spatial RDBMs. You doesn't need to consider any SQL statement, bulk copy provides a seamless tool to create or update spatial db (e.g. MySQL, SQL server, Oracle Spatial & ArcSDE) directly.

Upgrade from file-based (SDF or SHP) data storage to multi-user database storage (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle), which provides advanced features, such as versioning and long transaction.

General procedure
1 - Connect feature data (e.g. SHP, SDF...)
2 - Make database connection (e.g. MySQL)
3 - Create new data store
4 - Click Bulk copy
5 - Select feature source in connection source for left-hand side
6 - Select destination feature source for right-hand side
7 - Click Copy button
8 - Check log
9 - Done
