Offline mapping application

Recently I have to test the Design Review with GPS device. Those DWF file can be generated from AutoCAD Map 3D/ Civil 3D even IE browser by MapGuide enterprise.

On-Site, we use the netbook which is installed AutoCAD Map 3D & Design Review and connected to GPS if it is necessary. Most Netbook have provide WIFI, Bluetooth, low power processor and long-lasting battery. Some of them have HSPDA network and GPS modules.

Design Review provides light-weight software, especially this is free-of-charge!
* Easy-to-use ribbon interface
* PDF and DWF Support
* Enhanced, lockable markup capabilities
* Digital signature support
* Find and locate design information

AutoCAD Map3D provides flexible tool on site to do feature object editing and upload to MapGuide via HSPDA or hot-spot WIFI zone.

This is the general idea!

I tried to use the MSI laptop and connect to Nokia 5800 (it installed the software is called "ExtGPS"), eventually it fail to connect! This is the good idea as the nokia mobile provides AGPS!

As below is one of application which was used Autodesk Design Review and Map 3D to doing redlines:
