Drawing clean-up in AutoCAD Map 3D can be used for doing generalization. Actually drawing clean-up intends for providing tool which was used for correcting the common spatial data errors. This is very time-consuming as before. It's normally caused by improper vectorization.  Delete Duplicates, erase dangling objects and extend undershoots are very useful.

From the ASM newsletter, I find a software called Correlator3D; this is the software to generate the geospatial data from various raster image. It's arise my interest that it claims it can process "Real-time processing" & "no require any tie or ground control points". How does it know the geo-information?

Today I would like to announce that I have passed the PSE and received the "Partner Services Certificate" for AutoCAD Map 3D 2008. In coming future I would try to deliver a right solution and good supporting for Map 3D users.

Sometime ago I thought how I can use a CAD model to carry out both Civil infrastructure and Mapping tasks. Now there have a file format called SDF, it supports entities which have Z-elevation information. It able to store spatial data and do ac-hoc database join and able to handle multi-class objects.
